Continuing Education
PLS offers a wide range of continuing education topics covering clinical and anatomic interests. Our pathologists bring in-service training to hospital staff meetings and our Clinical Director provides clinical consultation and seminars when requested by our clients. The level of expertise can tailored from basic to advanced, depending on the audience.
We offer venues ranging from:
- lunch and learn seminars
- staff meetings
- breakfast or evening presentations

Hands-on Training
PLS welcomes our clients for training in our laboratory. Our technologists, client services, and processing department welcome visits and scheduled training in our Omaha and Lincoln laboratories. Many clients have taken advantage of time spent with our microbiologists, hematologists and chemists learning new skills to bring back to their laboratories. We also have an academic agreement with an MLT program and provide clinical laboratory rotations.
